At Itchen Valley Country Park you can find a range of things to see and do from play areas to nature walks and sensory tours to pond dipping

A new "Feel for Nature" sensory audio tour has just been launched at the Park. In addition to the play trail, there are two play areas; a small one for the younger children near the visitor centre and a larger one for older children on High Hill Field. Throughout the year you will find a number of activities for both children and adults and pond dipping is available throughout the summer by hiring nets and trays from the Visitor Centre.

There is a Visitor Centre with nature-based displays, a shop. There are two large permanent barbecue sites are available for hire for parties.

• The Park gates open at 8.30am every day and close at 7.00pm during GMT and 9.30pm during BST

• There is no fee to enter the park but there is a charge for parking

• Our 1-mile Forest Trail is accessible by all and an electric scooter is available to hire in the Visitor Centre if required. There is a wheelchair accessible toilet and the visitor centre, shop and cafe are all on ground-floor level.
